Kenya is on the way

In Sauri, Kenya living conditions have improved. Agricultural yields doubled, child mortality has dropped by 30% and children have been attending school. This is happening because people are having a change it attitude. People are learning how to take care of their crops and livestock. Technology based programs are improving their lives. Sachs has been working on a Millennium village project. Easterly argues that it won’t work on a larger scale. He thinks government corruption is a barrier to aid. Easterly also thinks poverty is linked to terrorism. Sachs agrees and admits they are dealing with 1/3 of the problem.
